Tonight I went for pizza, but not for me. Shortly after Shabbos I headed towards David's Famous Pizza in Cedarhurst to get some fresh pies and bring it to a healthcare hero on the front lines at NUMC / NuHealth in East Meadow, NY.
Dr. Liss from Riverdale, NY currently residing in West Hempstead, NY who is a resident doctor with his specialty in Psychiatry was transferred to a Covid Unit and has been working the night shifts at the hospital. We brought him food for Shabbos and went back tonight with some fresh pizza for him and his unit to enjoy.
