After helping get 3,300 cases of fresh produce to families in our community and beyond today I have to thank all our volunteers, sponsors and many more.
Unfortunately with Covid-19, food insecurity is real and devastating so many. I’m blessed to be able to help bring fresh and nutritious foods to help many in our community and beyond. Today we saw families from the 5 Towns, Far Rockaway, Oceanside, West Hempstead, Great Neck, Queens and other locations come out to pick up much needed foods to help them all in these uncertain times.
Kosher Response and The Marion and Aaron Gural JCC for the past few weeks have been holding produce distributions weekly, helping thousands upon thousands of people during this pandemic. We must also thank our countless volunteers who show up for hours to help with these distributions and we couldn’t do it without them.
It truly is an honor and privilege to be able to help and continue to help our community and beyond.
